Reader Leader WB 20/11/2017

Here are the current positions for the Reader Leader title.

We now have an additional class on track to achieve Master Class.  Well done to 8READ4!  They join 7READ1, 8READ1 and 8READ2.

If they continue with this level of performance Master Class will be theirs in March.

It is pleasing to see the engaged reading time increasing, the more you read, the more you quiz, the higher the engaged reading time.

As confidence and success increases we are starting to see students try a wider range of genres and vary the length of texts they are reading.  The high average % is a positive reflection of how much of the book is comprehended.  This in turn has a positive impact on increasing our student's reading ages.

The Master School Challenge set by Mrs Rigby at the beginning of the academic year is looking more and more achievable.

Average % - 92.3% (target 85%)
Engaged Reading time – 22 mins (target 25 mins)

13% of students achieving below 85% accuracy (target below 20%)
